Polly & Me

A performance by Sarah Waelchli

Two women, melancholic, pensive, solitary, sometimes angry… They question their identity and their relationship to the world and to others, setting in motion universal emotions that leave the spectator his own freedom of interpretation.

Three solos and two duets make up five tableaux, characterized by a different quality, direction and color of movement. Inspired by the raw poetry and mysterious atmosphere of PJ Harvey’s Uh Huh Her album, they explore different questionings, uncertainties and contrasting feelings that a woman faces at some point in her life.
