The cultural mediation workshops around the piece KlangTanz#2 take place in schools in the canton of Geneva. They allow young people to work around the themes addressed in the piece, with the guidance of a dancer and a musician. Together they develop the relationship to sound and movement, with the idea behind that a noise is not born without a gesture, and that a gesture is never silent. They discuss the motives that inspire the piece, and appropriate pieces of it, as well as the keys of reading. They practice moving by generating sounds and also creating rhythms with their bodies and various objects.
The day ends with a performance of KlangTanz#2 which they attend at the end of the afternoon. These one-day workshops encourage children to play with their bodies and the sounds they create, while addressing the question of common movement and individual presence.
